Mia says “my best bit was looking for the fairies in the fern garden at the top of the waterfall. We counted loads.”
Felix says “I loved climbing up the rocks and going on the obstacle course.”
Katie says “The waterfall would be more dramatic after more rain but we really enjoyed the energetic walk up to the top and back down (wear sturdy shoes!). It was like the Land that Time Forgot, full of ferns and rock formations, you could almost believe you were in New Zealand rather than England. A beautiful afternoon out.”
We spent in total for a family of 4: £48.25. £20 on entry (usually £24 but you can get a £4 off voucher from their website to show at the desk). £20.65 on lunch in the cafe – they do good pasties, paninis/baguettes with salad. We didn’t pay extra for the nature trail sheet which we thought was a bit cheeky.
