This really is a wonderfully peaceful place that we live in and we hope you will come and share it with us. It has a great atmosphere and all the facilities one needs to enjoy a break away from daily life.

We are family (and dog) friendly and have plenty of facilities for children here at the farm including a 24′ heated indoor swimming pool and a well-stocked games room. Younger children can entertain themselves in our enclosed play area with swings and sandpit whilst the young adults of the group can sink into a book or get online with wifi access in each of our properties.

All four of our cottages have their own private outdoor space with patio furniture and barbecue facilities. There’s also plenty of other communal space around the farm including our marvellous conservatory which overlooks a large pond for duck and moorhen watching. The conservatory can seat up to twenty-two people for dinner and is a great sun trap for reading a book well into the evening whereupon you can light the log burner for a little extra comfort.

Halsbeer Farm sits deep in unspoilt Devon farmland at the foot of the beautiful Blackdown Hills and consists of a number of barns which were renovated in 2001. The farm itself dates back to William the Conqueror and was mentioned in the Domesday Book survey of 1086. The farmstead sits in some 30 acres of farmland just a mile from the local villages of Kentisbeare and Blackborough.

The cottages have been lovingly restored with traditional thatch roofing, beautiful oak beams and flagstone floors. Generous living spaces give way to thoughtfully-created kitchens and all the conveniences you would expect in a modern home. As you venture upstairs you’ll find delicately decorated bedrooms painted in natural colours and furnished with hand-picked pieces set on rustic stripped pine floors, creating a place to remember.

Visit each cottage’s webpage for more information about its facilities and features and to check availability and book.
