Swallow Barn – sleeps up to 6
Swallow has a beautiful open-plan living area with views over the front lawn and to the Blackdown Hills beyond. Level access to the ground floor and a secluded patio looking over the pond, with ramp access to the communal conservatory and deck making it the perfect place for a family getaway.
The ground floor of Swallow Barn has traditional flagstone floors and is home to a lounge and separate kitchen both with patio access. The large, bright lounge sits below a huge vaulted ceiling and will seat the whole family comfortably. It has a TV, DVD player and WiFi access. The dining table seats six.
The kitchen has been newly refurbished for 2019 and is finished with granite worktops and a double range cooker along with everything else you’ll need to make you feel at home whilst preparing food. In addition downstairs there is a double bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite shower wet-room.
Swallow has far ranging views of the countryside from the lounge across the lawn and a private patio overlooking the duckpond along with barbeque and outside dining facilities.
The first floor houses a beautiful master bedroom with king-size four-poster bed and en-suite bathroom. It has a balcony looking over the pond and onto farmland beyond. In addition upstairs there is a twin room with ensuite bath with hand shower. The upstairs has vaulted ceilings and stripped pine floors. The rooms have been finished in natural tones and furnished to a high standard to provide you with a luxurious place to stay.
A fantastic week, what a relaxing spot. We have barely been away from Swallow Barn. The kids have loved the space, the ducks and the pool. We'll definitely be back - Thank you. The Clarks - Muswell Hill, London
Bedrooms - 3 Bedrooms. Sleeps 6. Downstairs kingsize double with wet room shower suite. Upstairs one bedroom with a kingsize four poster, ensuite bath room and balcony and a twin bedroom (2ft 6 inch beds) with ensuite bath.
Heating and Electricity - We have oil-fired central heating and all heating and electric costs are included.
Entertainment - There is a TV and DVD player in the sitting room area. We also have WiFi available at no additional cost.
Linen and Towels - Linen, duvets and towels (bath and swimming) are provided but please bring beach towels for days out.
Parking - We have adequate parking on a large private drive for you and any guests you may have during your stay.
Utilities - The kitchen is newly refurbished for 2019 and has a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, electric range cooker and microwave. All cookware and crockery/cutlery is provided. Washing machines and a tumble dryer are available in a nearby laundry room for your convenience.
Outside facilitates - Gas fired barbecue with utensils is provided along with outside seating/dining table and parasol.
Pets - We are happy to accept a maximum of two well-behaved dogs per property at Halsbeer Farm. There is an extra cost of £20 per dog per booking to cover additional cleaning. Dogs are not permitted upstairs.
Suitability - We have highchairs and cots available on request for your little ones. Stairgates are available to help keep children safe and dogs downstairs. No smoking allowed inside the cottage or any of our indoor areas.
