Cider Cottage

Cider Cottage – sleeps up to 6

This lovely three bedroom oak-beamed cottage would probably have been home to the cider press at Halsbeer Farm back when there were orchards here. Nowadays it’s the perfect place for a family to get a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Cider Cottage has flagstone floors with a open-plan kitchen and living area. The light and bright kitchen was newly fitted in November 2016. It has a large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, electric oven, induction hob and microwave and plenty of storage space for food.

Leading from the kitchen area is a conservatory with dining table that seats six. We have added curtains and a carpet to make this area cosier in cooler weather and new oak double doors onto the front patio where you can sit to enjoy the morning sun.

At the rear of the kitchen there are double doors leading to a large split level paved private patio and barbecue area. We can move the garden table and chairs down to the lower patio for level access out of the kitchen if required. There are a few steps up to the main patio area where there is also a gate giving on to a small grass area and path round to the car park.

The living area has a TV/DVD player. Leading off the living area is a double bedroom with king size bed and a large en-suite shower room (with shower seat and grab rails).

Upstairs there are two spacious bedrooms with stripped pine floors and oak beamed ceilings. One bedroom has a kingsize four poster bed with an en-suite bathroom with roll-top bath. The other bedroom has 3ft twin beds and an en-suite shower room.
