This page is under constant update. As and when new questions come in from our guests the answers will be given here.
Do you have fast Wifi? We have invested in Starlink broadband so generally our broadband speeds are good. Obviously we can't guarantee speed or that it won't get interrupted but we will do our very best to give you a good connection and decent speed for your devices. You should be able to work from the cottages including zoom calls should you wish to (but you might just like to have some time off!)
When can we use the pool? The pool is generally open from 8am til 8pm. Outside these times we check the levels and may need to adjust the chemicals. A rota system is in operation during busy times (mainly school holidays) so that each cottage has two one hour slots per full day of their stay.
Can we bring our dog(s)? Yes you can. We allow up to two well behaved dogs however if you have more than two do please contact Katie and we will do what we can to accommodate your furry friends. Further information on dogs at Halsbeer Farm can be found on our Dog-friendly page.
Are your cottages accessible? Our three largest cottages have level or near level access from the car park and each has a ground floor double or king size room with an ensuite shower wet room. Further information about our facilities for those with reduced mobility can be found on our Accessibility page.
Can we order a supermarket delivery? Yes you absolutely can. All of the major supermarkets deliver along with some of our local providers such as Veyseys Butcher in Cullompton and Fordmore Farm Shop. Take a look at our Where to Eat page which also has information on takeaways, food shopping, deliveries and catering options.
Where can we visit when we stay with you? The world is your oyster, but to help you we have information on theLocal Area section of the website and also our digital guidebook where you will find an interactive and filterable map of local attractions. We also share details of local visitor attractions on our Facebook and Instagram channels so Follow us on those to keep in the know.
Can I book a massage or facial treatment somewhere near you? There is a fantastic massage therapist in Kentisbeare. Sarah at The Cedar Room is fully qualified and uses the most delicious natural waxes for her massages and plant-based products for her facial treatments. If you are a large group and sufficient numbers wish to have treatments Sarah may be able to set up a mobile treatment space here at the Farm.
