Our lovingly restored thatched barns will make a wonderful home from home for your family in the heart of Devon’s beautiful, rural countryside. Whether it’s a cosy getaway for two or the extended family and the dogs that need to be accommodated we have the right space for you.

OUR COTTAGES

Within a beautiful courtyard setting, our four cottages sleep between 3 and 7 people. They have many of their enchanting original features, and are a perfect base for exploring rural Devon.

our facilities

All of our guests have use of the 24' indoor swimming pool, beautiful conservatory with log burner and wraparound deck overlooking our duck pond, plus a fully stocked games room and outside play area.

The full capacity of the four cottages is 22 which is perfect for larger groups who may want to celebrate a special occasion. Our conservatory seats 22 so you can all dine together!

Our cottages are all extremely family friendly, and the location is perfect for families of all ages. Everything you need for a relaxing break with your family is provided and there is a whole world to explore on our doorstep!

DOG-FRIENDLY​

We welcome dogs in our cottages and they'll get plenty of exercise with walks from your door throughout the Blackdown Hills - an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that you can't help but fall in love with.

accessibility

We are passionate about everyone being able to enjoy a holiday here at Halsbeer. Our three largest cottages are suitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility as they each have a ground floor bedroom with ensuite shower wet-room.

​​Set within 30 acres of farmland and on the edge of the beautiful Blackdown Hills; an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Halsbeer Farm is the perfect place to get away from it all and relax within Devon’s picturesque countryside.

The farm itself dates back to William the Conqueror and was mentioned in the Domesday Book survey of 1086.
