Can you believe it's June already? We can't. The weather has been warming our cockles and we are looking forward to the Summer ahead. June is the perfect month to visit our self-catering h0liday cottages if you haven't got dependant children or if you have pre-schoolers. Enjoy visiting local attractions with fewer people than in the summer holidays, walk the beautiful lanes and footpaths that are brimming over with wildflowers, relax beside the pond, in our glorious conservatory or swim in the heated indoor swimming pool. And benefit from a special seasonal pricing structure we've put in place for the month of June. Read on to find out more... We've added more flexibility for stays in our holiday accommodation June with check in possible any day of the week, any duration from a three night minimum, and a scaled nightly pricing structure depending on how many nights you wish to stay. Nightly prices during June start from just £80 in Apple and £110 in Cider, Swallow and Hay Barns for seven nights or more making a week long stay the best value for money at £560 in Apple (was £595) and £770 in the larger cottages (was £845). The nightly price gradually increases the shorter the break you book to a maximum of £120 per night for three nights in Apple and £180 per night for three nights in the larger three cottages. Search for availability and see how the new June pricing works on our website. Availability calendars for each individual cottage are available on each of the cottage pages where you can also find more information and photos of the accommodation: 2024 dates are now available to book online! So get looking at your calendars and planning for next year. For the second half of 2023 we have good availability in the first and third weeks of July and we still have at least one cottage available at the moment in each week of the main school summer holidays but they are going fast so book soon if you want to secure a summer holiday stay. Good availability throughout September and October but only Apple remaining for the October half term break. Christmas week has already booked in all cottages but New Year is available. Painting course update We have three spaces remaining on Julie Dunster's plein air oil painting course (7-9 July) and one space on Lynda Kettle's watercolour course 11-13 July). Details can be found on our Painting Holiday webpage or please enquire direct with Katie. Gorgeous Greenway We've been enjoying some days out lately including Agatha Christie's summer holiday home near Kingswear on the River Dart. Owned by the National Trust, the house at Greenway is a treasure trove of fascinating items collected by Agatha and her family and the gardens are stunning, with specimen trees situated on a sloping site with views of the river. Be sure to book your car parking space on the NT website before you visit as parking is limited. Do please get in touch if you have any questions or would like to book.
We look forward to seeing you soon. Katie, Mark, Mia, Felix, Lilah and Seren XXxxx
